Connect ChatGPT
ChatGPT can connect to Hemix through its Developer Mode (a beta that gives ChatGPT full MCP connector support). A few things to know up front:
- It's on ChatGPT on the web, on paid plans — availability is rolling out and gated by plan, so the exact menu may differ on your account. (See OpenAI's own help article for the current plan list.)
- ChatGPT only connects to remote MCP servers — which Hemix is, so it works. The connector URL is
https://mcp.hemix.life/mcp. - Developer Mode is powerful (it can use write actions). Only connect tools you trust, and confirm write actions when prompted.
Steps
- In ChatGPT on the web, open Settings → Apps → Advanced settings and turn on Developer Mode.
- Back in Advanced settings, choose Create app (a custom connector) for a remote MCP server.
- Enter the Hemix connector URL:
https://mcp.hemix.life/mcp, and choose OAuth for authentication. - ChatGPT sends you to a Hemix page in your browser. Sign in and approve what ChatGPT may access on the permission screen.
- In a chat, enable the connector from the Developer Mode tool in the composer, then ask about your results.
Approving a change
If you allow it to propose additions, ChatGPT never writes directly — it returns a confirmation link. Open it on Hemix, review exactly what will be saved, and approve. Only then is it stored, tagged as added by your agent.
Disconnect
Remove the connector in ChatGPT's Developer Mode settings, and revoke it on Hemix under Settings → Connected agents.
*ChatGPT's answers are its own output, not Hemix's. Hemix exports your stored record — values, ranges, dates — never a Hemix-computed diagnosis. Hemix is a wellness tracking tool, not a medical device.*
